Accountant Salary : $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience What Sets Us Apart Mission-Driven Healthcare Organization committed to improving patient outcomes and community wellness Team-Oriented Culture with strong support from leadership and cross-functional departments Stable Industry with consistent growth and long-term job security Opportunities for Advancement into senior-level roles or specialized accounting areas Comprehensive Benefits Package, including 401(k) match, healthcare, and generous PTO Meaningful Work: Be part of a team that directly supports quality healthcare delivery Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger reporting Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts monthly Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and financial statement preparation Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Analyze variances and assist in budget tracking for department managers Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare industry regulations Collaborate with finance and operational teams on ad hoc projects and reporting requests What We're Looking For in an Accountant Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP; familiarity with healthcare compliance a plus Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Location & Compensation Work Setting: On-site in Canton, Ohio | Monday-Friday Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and professional development opportunities expereince accounting growth devlopment
