Job Description Description The ANM position provides comprehensive care to patients, while being a leader on the unit. Find out more about our unit in the link below. /n Acute Medicine Unit (Hanna House 3) /n /n Required For All Jobs /n /n - Performs other duties as assigned. /n - Complies with all policies and standards. /n - For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. /n - Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. /n Qualifications Experience and Knowledge: /n /n - Meets qualification of 1-2 years clinical experience /n - Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic. /n /n Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge: /n /n - Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers. /n - Demonstrated ability to handle high pressure situations with professionalism and integrity. /n - Knowledge of current technology and equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies /n - PC and computer applications /n /n Education: /n · Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
