Job Description Description Seeking an Advanced Practice
Provider to join our distinguished Lung Transplant Program team at
UH Cleveland Medical Center. The APP will see patients in both
inpatient and ambulatory settings. The schedule is 4 10 hr. days
plus call. Advanced practice provider experience and transplant

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality
care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction.
Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as
specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH
entity specific Medical Bylaws. /n /n What You Will Do /n /n -

Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual
training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are
in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. /n
Qualifications Education /n /n - Master's Degree from an accredited
PA educational program (Required) /n - (MSN) Master's Degree in
Nursing (Required) /n /n Work Experience /n /n - 1 years as an
Advanced Practice Provider (Preferred) /n - /n /n Knowledge,
Skills, & Abilities /n /n - Demonstrated leadership skills.
(Required proficiency) /n - Demonstrated skills in interpersonal
relationships. (Required proficiency) /n - Computer skills to
access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required
proficiency) /n - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and
Outlook. (Required proficiency) /n - /n /n Licenses and
Certifications /n Physician Assistant: /n /n - Physician Assistant
(PA) (Required) and /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and /n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred) /n - Passed the
Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
/n - Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
/n - Maintain national PA Certification (Required) /n /n Nurse
Practitioner: /n /n - Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi
State Compact License (Required) /n - Nurse Practitioner (NP)
