Location: Wooster, OH Shift: 1st Shift Pay: BOE (Based on
Experience) Help keep our hotel in suite condition from check-in to
check-out! A local hotel in Wooster is seeking a dependable and
customer-service-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to handle
repairs and upkeep throughout the facility. This role is ideal for
someone who enjoys hands-on work, interacting with guests and
staff, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Work
Schedule (must be flexible): * 9:00 AM 5:00 PM * 10:00 AM 6:00 PM *
2:00 PM 10:00 PM * Must be available to work weekends Primary
Responsibilities: * Perform general building maintenance and
repairs throughout the hotel * Troubleshoot and repair basic
plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues * Repair drywall,
doors, locks, fixtures, and furniture * Complete preventative
maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety * Respond promptly
and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and hotel
staff * Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner
when working in occupied areas * Conduct routine inspections to
identify and address maintenance needs * Maintain a clean, safe,
and organized work environment Qualifications: * Previous
experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or
handyman work preferred * Strong customer service skills and
professional demeanor * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed *
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs *
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively *
