Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in a K-12
school setting located in Dearborn, MI, covering the current school
year with a contract through June 17. This position supports
students ages 2 to 26 years within a center-based model. The role
primarily involves classroom consulting with minimal direct therapy
sessions. Familiarity with augmentative and alternative
communication (AAC) strategies is beneficial. The schedule is
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,
and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to regular meetings.
This position does not offer virtual work at this time. Key
Qualifications: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the
state of Michigan Experience in school-based settings, preferably
K-12 Comfort working with a wide age range (2 to 26 years)
Knowledge of AAC tools and techniques Ability to provide classroom
consultation services effectively Responsibilities: Supporting
students through consultation within classrooms Collaborating with
educators to develop communication strategies Providing assessment
and intervention recommendations as needed Maintaining
documentation and compliance with school policies Benefits:
