Your Key Responsibilities Conducts all activities required for validation & verification (V&V), for products and contained system, mechanical, electrics/electronics as assigned. Contributes to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards. Contributes to the development and implementation verification and validation activities in accordance with given standards (including testing of virtual or physical objects, static analysis, simulation). Contributes to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners (e.g., system, electrics/electronics), providers of equipment and tools (e.g., test rigs, test environment for model-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop tests), or customers. Applies given verification or validation processes. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience. Knowledge of electric motor design. Experience in risk analysis and design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA). Electric drive knowledge. Experience in programming and development in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, or Python. Strong knowledge of vehicle drivetrain theory. Knowledge of controller area network (CAN) communication. Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components. Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer. Understanding of modelling and simulating of mechanical, electric, or mechatronic development.
