Job Description:
The Portage County Engineer is accepting applications from
persons interested in the full-time position of Highway Worker II.
The selected candidate will operate medium to heavy duty dump
trucks and a variety of light and medium motorized equipment to
assist with the maintenance, construction and repair of county
roads, bridges, and culverts; performs other duties as required.
Rate of pay is $25.50 per hour with paid time off including
vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Benefits include health, dental
and vision.
