Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the specialty License: Must hold a current Ohio license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: ICU experience and willingness to float to ICU Description: Local candidates are not permitted. Candidates must be within an 80-mile radius. First-time travelers are accepted. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Block scheduling is allowed and will be discussed during the interview. The start date is as soon as possible. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend. Call is not required. Floating to ICU is mandatory. Two references from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission. References must be from assignments worked in the last 12 months. All RTO must be discussed during the interview and included at the time of submission. Candidates must meet background review requirements. Medical or religious exemptions are available for the flu vaccine. All travelers must possess American Heart Association certifications (BLS for all, ACLS required for RNs). Return staff must wait at least one year before returning as a traveler.
