Hunter Recruiting is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract MS/Tele RN - Akron, OH - Nights available - 2 years experience required - EPIC EMR experience required -ACLS, BLS in hand -Must have OH license or Compact RN license - Must be able to draw blood and start IVs unit information: This is a 13-bed Unit Med/Surg/Tele overflow unit. ACLS/BLS required. The ratios will vary based on patient level of care needs. (1:5 to 1:6) Looking for Med/Surg trained nurses with telemetry capabilities AND at least 2 years of recent MS/TELE experience. Recent EPIC and Phlebotomy experience (within last 12 months) also required. Floating is required as necessary and is based on census and available staff.
