Job Description Job Description Job SummaryThe Infant and Early
Childhood Supervisor (IECBH) will provide clinical and
administrative oversight for staff that are providing behavioral
health services to pregnant women, children through the age of 5
and caretakers. Services provided in this program and within the
community, home-based, and outpatient locations. At least 3 years
of experience in the field of early childhood and infant mental
health in a clinical setting. 1 year of supervisory experience in
providing and managing behavioral health services and Evidence-
Based Practices required. IMH-E Level II endorsement or ability to
maintain the endorsement within 90 days of hire. Become MichiCANS
and PECFAS certified within 30 days of hire. Previous experience
using an electronic medical records system required. Strong
interpersonal skills; the ability to maintain a positive
relationship with clients, agency staff, coworkers, senior staff,
referring sources, community resources and contractors. Strong
leadership skills including the ability to build teams. Ability to
demonstrate basic computer skills related to windows navigation,
Microsoft Office and general office equipment. Must be able to
provide clearance that there is no record and/or convictions as a
perpetrator of child abuse and/or neglect in the State of Michigan
Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry and other states of residency
over the past 5 years. Position requires driving, you must be able
to provide proof of having a current, valid driver's license,
reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance. Ability
to work effectively both independently and with an
interdisciplinary team. An ability to effectively manage time,
information, and meet deadlines. Master's degree in mental health
related fields such as; social work, psychology, or/and counseling.
Meet and maintain eligibility criteria to be credentialed as a
Child Mental Health Professional "CMHP" per the MDCH Qualifications
Guidelines. Maintain a five-day work week, to effectively support
reporting team, clients, and departmental needs. Essential
Functions Responsible for administrative and clinical oversight of
services delivery of designated programs. Works in collaboration
with other agency staff and departments, and outside
providers/stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. Participate in
community or agency meetings and/or other meetings as required by
your position. Responsible for the administration and reflective
supervision of no more than 8 clinical staff. Maintain a minimum
caseload of 2 clients. When there is a staff vacancy for two
months, each vacancy must be occupied with two clients, for a
caseload not to exceed 12. Develop Performance Goals and
Expectations with immediate supervisor annually. If certified in a
clinical model of practice, must maintain certification in and
participate in all training and program requirements to assure
model fidelity for any Evidence Based, Promising and/or Best
Practice Models. Support the values of the family, The Mission and

collaborate and maintain professional standards while conducting
agency business. Monitor, track, and manage staff to address Key
Performance Indicators, through an annual review process to all
assigned staff. Ability to convey detailed instructions or ideas
accurately. Ability to prepare, review, inspect, and sign documents
in hard copy or electronic format. Ability to tolerate exposure to
computer screens and operate computer/keyboard and other office
equipment on a frequent and/or continuous basis. Ability to receive
and exchange information and accurately and effectively communicate

coaching and mentoring. Key Performance Indicators Client
Engagement: Supervisor oversees and ensures staff maintain weekly
scheduling and billing expectations as outlined in the client
engagement policy and AEB incremental improvement (5% or more per
month) on Quality UM chart reviews. Upholding of Core Values:
Supervisor will uphold the agency core values and will have no more
than 2 disciplinary actions related to core value concerns within a
12-month period. The supervisor will also hold assigned staff
accountable to core value expectations and will monitor assigned
staff and address identified core value concerns as needed.
Documentation Compliance: Supervisor will ensure that progress
notes and SAL's (including IPOS and assessments) are completed with
less than 3 infractions per month in accordance with policy. The
supervisor will monitor weekly documentation reports (i.e. SALS,
overdue documents, etc.) for direct staff and ensure assigned staff
are in compliance with 95% timely documentation completion in
accordance with policy. Required Supervision: Supervisor will
actively participate in their own supervision and hold supervision
with their directly assigned staff no less than on a biweekly
schedule (including team meetings) or consistent with regulatory
standards. Required Training: Supervisor will attend the required
agency and regulatory trainings, and additional training based upon
your position. Supervisor will demonstrate independence in
complying with training due dates and will monitor directly
assigned staff compliance with due dates, ensuring follow up is
provided one week prior to due date if training is not yet
completed and holding staff accountable to expected due date
(including follow through with disciplinary action, if needed).
Physical Requirements Mobility-residential - Ability to traverse
stairs and other uneven terrain to gain access to and to maneuver
throughout offsite locations including residential homes, office
buildings and special event locations. Lifting 10 Lbs. - Ability to
lift up to 10 Lbs. Sitting - Ability to sit for extended periods of
