Job Description Job Description Description: We are a surgical private practice office located in St. Clair Shores and we are looking for a friendly surgical scheduler to help us with scheduling surgical and endoscopic procedures, obtaining medical/cardiac clearance from the PCP or the cardiologist. The job includes scheduling surgeries, verifying insurance coverage prior to procedure planned date, and obtaining prior authorization for surgeries and diagnostic imaging, sending prescriptions and pre-op instructions, follow up with patients and make follow up appointments when needed. This position is full time, 40 hours/ week, working Monday thru Friday 8:30 am-5pm. This position is an IN OFFICE position and NOT remote work. Job will require knowing how to verify insurances to see if the patient has coverage and obtain prior authorization.
