(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide dedicated nursing
support as a full-time 1-on-1 LPN or RN in a high school setting
located in Akron, OH. This contract position offers the opportunity
to work closely with a single student, accompanying them throughout
the school day and on transportation to and from school. The role
requires a compassionate nurse experienced in supporting students
with mental or behavioral disabilities. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver personalized nursing care to a high school student during
school hours. - Accompany the student on the bus to and from school
to ensure their safety and well-being. - Collaborate with school
staff to support the student's health needs throughout the day. -
Respond promptly to any medical or behavioral incidents that arise.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to the students care.
Qualifications: - Valid LPN/LVN or RN licensure. - Proven
experience providing 1-on-1 nursing care for students with mental
or behavioral disabilities. - Ability to ride the bus and stay with
the student during all school activities. - Strong communication
and observation skills. - Flexibility to accommodate a full-time
schedule of approximately 35 hours per week (exact hours TBD). Work
Details: - Location: Akron, OH. - Duration: Immediate start with a
contract through June 3, 2026. - Caseload: One high school student.
