Contract (On-Site) - Hours: 36 hours per week - Shift: 12-hour
rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–07:30; rotation

work at least every other holiday Job Requirements - Experience:
Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
(Telemetry nurse / Med Surg RN) - Permanent Experience: Minimum 18
months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior
to travel assignments - License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact
RN license (must be in hand at submission) — Registered Nurse
required - Certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS,
NIHSS — all active (no pending) - Reference: One reference from a
manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
(non-supervisory references not accepted) - Compliance: Ability to
complete required onboarding steps and pre-start modules within
required timelines - Vaccines: COVID-19 & seasonal flu vaccines
required (medical/religious exemptions only) Responsibilities -
Provide bedside nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the
Urology unit, including telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, telemetry
strips, and clinical progress in the EMR per hospital standards -
Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely
following medication calculation assessments - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, surgeons, advanced
practice providers, PT/OT, case management) to optimize patient
outcomes - Support unit workflow, participate in patient safety and
quality initiatives, and assist with admissions, discharges, and
transfers - Complete accurate clinical documentation and handoffs
