Job Description Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for
a Medical Lab Technologist to provide support to our client’s
healthcare system in Commerce Township, MI. This is a 12-week
contract, evening-shift role with the potential for extension—an
excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital-based setting.
Job Details Location: Commerce Township, MI Shift: 5x8 Evening
Duration: 12 weeks Pay Rate: $1,600 weekly gross Job Summary The
Medical Lab Technologist will perform a variety of laboratory tests
and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, and
treating diseases. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and
timely test results while maintaining compliance with safety and
quality standards. Key Responsibilities -Perform routine and
complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry,
microbiology, immunology, and blood banking -Analyze specimens and
interpret test results with a high degree of accuracy -Operate,
maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
-Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, labeling, and
documentation -Maintain quality control standards and adhere to
laboratory protocols and regulatory guidelines -Collaborate with
physicians and healthcare staff to provide critical diagnostic
information -Document and report test findings in laboratory
information systems -Follow all safety procedures, infection
control, and compliance regulations Required Qualifications &
Certifications -Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science,
Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field -ASCP (American
Society for Clinical Pathology) certification required. -Minimum 2
