Speech Language Pathologist Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,562 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Speech Language Pathology Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Wednesday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: One year of speech pathology experience in a health setting required License: Current State driver’s license Certifications: Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology Must-Have: BLS certification Description: Under general supervision of the therapy manager, implements treatment programs to provide in-home speech-language pathology services. The goal is to assist clients with communication deficits. Candidates with inpatient rehab experience are preferred. Must have reliable transportation and a telephone. Candidates should have sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet the demands of the job. Knowledge of normal communication processes, development, and disorders is essential to evaluate clients and implement approved treatment techniques. Good documentation skills and effective communication abilities are required. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus. The work schedule consists of four days per week, from Wednesday to Saturday, with ten-hour shifts. Start time is negotiable but typically begins around 7:45 AM.
