Job Description:

This per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. Physicians will work alongside community OBs and a multidisciplinary care team, managing obstetric emergencies, labor and delivery patients, and inpatient OB/GYN services in a collaborative hospital setting focused on women's healthcare.

• Per diem coverage
• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Flexible scheduling available
• Current coverage needs include:

• July 2, 10, 20, 31

• August 2, 6, 15, 16, 17, 21, 24, 31

• September 4, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 25, 28
• Additional ongoing coverage opportunities may be available.

• Provide OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage.
• Manage OB triage patients and inpatient admissions.
• Provide labor and delivery coverage for hospitalized patients.
• Deliver inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies during 24-hour in-house shifts.
• Evaluate and manage OB/GYN patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Perform trauma evaluations for pregnant patients.
• Coordinate obstetric care plans and follow-up services.
• Collaborate closely with community OB physicians and hospital staff.
• Maintain real-time communication with office-based physicians regarding triage visits, deliveries, and patient care issues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary obstetric critical care management.

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Required
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Preferred
• Recent OB/GYN clinical experience within the last 12 months Required
• Clean malpractice and background history for expedited credentialing Required
• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire Required
• Self-Query NPDB report obtained within 30 days of submission Required
• Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained Required
• Must be available for the requested coverage dates and ongoing scheduling needs
• Must comply with all submission and credentialing requirements at the time of name clear

• Candidates with Ohio licensure and immediate availability for the requested dates will be prioritized.
