a reputable manufacturing company in Byesville, Ohio, offering an
exciting opportunity for Shipping Associates. Join our team and
become a crucial part of assembling sheet metal products for HVAC
systems. This is a temp-to-hire position on the 3rd shift, with
competitive compensation. Job Summary: As a Shipping Associate, you
will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow
of goods within our organization. You will be responsible for
accurately packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery,
as well as managing inventory and coordinating with various teams
to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a keen
attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability
to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Packing and
Labeling: Accurately package and label products for shipment,
ensuring that all items are secure and well-protected during
transit. Order Processing: Process incoming orders, verify order
accuracy, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining
inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and reporting
discrepancies to the relevant department. Shipping Coordination:
Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule pickups
and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation
of goods. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on outbound
shipments to ensure that products meet quality standards and
customer specifications. Documentation: Generate and maintain
accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including packing
lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse staff, sales,
and customer service, to address any issues related to shipments
and ensure a seamless order fulfillment process. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe
working environment, including the proper handling of hazardous
materials if applicable. Requirements: - Strong work ethic and
willingness to work overtime as needed. - High School Diploma or
GED is required. - Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug
test and physical assessment. - Ability to follow safety protocols
and guidelines. - Forklift experience is a plus. - Ability to train
on 1st shift before moving to 3rd shift. Pay: 18.50/PH. Hours:
Mon-TH 7:30pm-6:00am. Must be able to pass a background check, drug
