Job Description:
Hogan1 is seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to join our
expanding team, integral to our commitment to providing leading
transportation solutions. As a key player in our logistics
operations, you will handle the crucial tasks of transporting goods
safely and efficiently, directly impacting our ability to fulfill
client expectations and strengthen our market presence. This role
is perfect for drivers who thrive in a dynamic environment and are
eager to contribute to a robust supply chain network. Operate a
tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds
Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
as determined by logistics management. Document and log work/rest
periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight,
route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with
company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or
unloading positions, and ensure accuracy in all aspects of load
handling. Report defects, accidents or violations as observed and
provide comprehensive reports of logs and paperwork. Keep an
effective communication line open with the dispatch team to
optimize routes. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the
end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
Proven work experience as a truck driver with hands-on experience
in operating braking systems and electronic equipment for route and
logistics management. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck
driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving
violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected
situations (traffic, weather conditions etc). Ability to drive long
hours and travel regularly. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
