This position requires a Commercial Driver’s License and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Regional Runs based out of Michigan, or Ohio - Home on weekends! SIGN ON BONUS $1500 sign on bonus: $200 after 14 days $300 after 60 days $300 after 120 days $700 after 180 days ____________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Deliveries of supplies and/or materials Loading and securing material with company equipment (forklift, pallet jack etc) Pick up of battery and other materials for recycling purposes including Hazardous Materials Keeping supplies in vehicle stocked Unloading materials Fueling vehicle Keeping up to date with routine maintenance Keeping vehicle clean and organized, inside and out, and washing regularly Advising management of vehicle issues Annual Vehicle Inspection Requirements Bill of Lading Making sure BOL matches shipment, making adjustments as required for quantity, weight or materials Making sure Shipper/Receiver signs BOL Daily Vehicle Inspection reports Diver’s Daily log as required Expense reports as needed Providing annual reports regarding driving record and medical certification Review Driver’s Record book annually with management Listen and resolve customer issues advising management of same All other duties as assigned ____________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications Required: No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 5 years Must be at least 25 years old Must have been driving in the last 3 years High School Diploma or GED Recent 2 years of Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience Has or willing to get (at company expense) HazMat endorsement Loading and unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack etc Current CDL-A with Medical Certification ____________________________________________________________________________ Physical Requirements Standing/Walking: Sometimes Sitting: Most Times Lifting/Carrying Lifting/Carrying 20-50 lbs: Sometimes Lifting/Carrying >50 lbs: Never Pushing/Pulling: Most Times Climbing: Never Stopping/Bending: Sometimes Reaching above shoulder: Most Times Repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers: All Times Operate Motor Vehicle: All Times Operate Manual Equipment: Sometimes Operate machinery/power tools: Sometimes ____________________________________________________________________________ Worksite Conditions Weather Exposure: All Times Temperature Extremes: All Times Noise: Most Times Odors: Most Times Dust or Mist: Most Times Fumes or Vapors: Most Times Chemicals Chemicals drummed: Most Times Chemicals bulk tank: Never Respirator: Never Personal Protective Clothing: Sometimes Personal Protective Equipment: Sometimes ____________________________________________________________________________ Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision HSA/HRA/FSA Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer match Wellness programs and incentives Life & Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, & Hospital Indemnity Paid Time Off 80 hours of paid company holidays
