Good Partner Manage operations of feed mill and grain facilities in
the most efficient and cost-effective way possible Demonstrate
ability to multitask Act with integrity and deliver results Assist
with maintaining company safety program Conduct and lead inventory
teams through month end inventory and work to reduce shrink
Develop, maintain and monitor standard operating procedures for all
processes Effectively meet all internal and external regulatory
compliance requirements Ensure that customer service, and product
quality provided by the facility meet the expectations established
by heritage cooperative, our customers and the marketplace
Demonstrate high level customer support Lead by example with
respect, integrity and ethics Maintain and enhance ongoing training
of production employees on equipment operation, set-up,
troubleshooting and process optimization Maintain feed tags and
inspect for accuracy Make recommendations to improve production,
safety, quality and cost savings Manage the employees at the
facility in a manner that maximizes the safety, quality,
effectiveness and efficiency of the operation Monitor and adjust
settings on baggers, hangers, sewing machines, robotic palletizers,
pellet mill etc. To achieve maximum performance and efficiency
Provide a safe work environment for all employees, an effective
facility to meet product specifications and an efficient operation
that can meet cost and service expectations Responsible for all
plant maintenance Responsible for execution of the daily production
schedule Review and investigate feed and drug assays Supervise and
motivate employees as needed Supervise production activities, check
and sign off on daily production reports, check run yields,
sequencing, flushing, etc Abide by all safety regulations to ensure
safety of oneself, coworkers and customers Other duties as assigned
by your supervisor REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to frequently
stand and/or walk for extended periods of time Ability to
frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat,
wind, rain, etc Outstanding organizational and time-management
skills Respectable mechanical skills Hands on experience in an
ability to deliver excellent customer service Knowledge of ag
technology tools Self-motivated with a strong initiative Solid
decision making and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and
written communication and interpersonal skills Experience and
knowledge of feed production or similar manufacturing Proven
leadership experience in a team environment Capable of working
without supervision PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Valid Driver’s
License, with acceptable driving record Forklift Certified
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or equivalent experience Previous
