Massillon Container Company/Vail Packaging has Machine Utility positions available on our 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday 1st shifts at our union corrugated packaging manufacturing plant located in Navarre, OH. Our work is performed by a diverse employee group in a flexible, fast-paced production environment and requires mechanical inclination, basic shop math skills, and the ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and other physical demands. Our Machine UtilityWorkers run presses and other machines, read factory orders, read tape measures to set up machines with close tolerances, and read gauges and other test equipment. They complete hand work duties that include using glue machines and hand gluing and assembling corrugated packaging solutions. They use basic shop math, inspect, load, count and stack corrugated board and finished packaging, read and complete production and shipping documents and consistently following detailed directions.
