Agency seeks experienced commercial lines account managers for our
Wixom, Farmington Hills and Tecumseh MI offices. Do you have
commercial lines insurance experience and want to take that
knowledge to a new level? Michigan Community is seeking an
experienced commercial lines account manager to assist with a
legacy book of business and to be a resource to account managers

along the way! Department: Commercial Lines Job Purpose: Sales and
service of commercial lines business in accordance with objectives
and procedures outlined by the agency. Organizational Relationship:
Responsible to the Commercial lines department manager Minimum
Educational Requirements: high School Diploma, College courses
Minimum Job Qualifications: a. Minimum 3 years commercial insurance
experience b. Experienced with AMS 360/ Worksmart-Imagerite c. Hold
and maintain P/C license d. Strong organizational and time
management skills Responsibilities: a. Coordinate , maintain and
manage agency Commercial lines accounts via the procedures and
process as directed by agency b. Review renewals, recommend
coverages and bind business according to agency policies and
procedures c. First point of contact for any issues, problems or
concerns for current customers d. Maintain direct communication
with underwriters e. Attend weekly or daily huddle meetings for
good communication f. Accuracy of work, low frequency with no
repetitive errors g. Pursue programs for personal and professional
development h. Other duties assigned by management Duties: a.
Respond to questions or complaints from customers b. Bind new
business and recommend coverage, cross sell on renewal business c.
Maintain agency service standards d. Handle and process claims with
in department e. Review and respond to company and client
correspondence f. Maintain good working relationship with
co-workers g. Remarket renewal business as necessary to maintain
customer satisfaction h. Company interface Performance Standards:
a. 1 hour- return phone calls b. Same day- claims submitted to
carrier c. 24 hour- endorsement requests, non payment, receipt of
payment processing, LPRs, respond to correspondence received from
customers d. 48 hour- new business submission applications,
requests to market e. 3 day- rewrites f. 5 day- correspondence from
companies, renewal reviews, endorsement processing
