Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Nurse Supervisor to join our team. The role involves overseeing
nursing staff and ensuring high standards of patient care across
our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and
hospice agencies. The successful candidate will play a critical
role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in patient care,
managing nursing operations, and contributing to staff development
and patient satisfaction. Supervise and manage nursing staff across
multiple facilities Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
and internal policies Develop and implement strategies for
improving the quality of care and patient satisfaction Coordinate
with healthcare professionals to maintain optimal operational flow
Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development and
training Address and resolve any issues related to patient care
Participate in the recruitment and hiring of new nursing staff
Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management
systems and tools Knowledge of healthcare regulations and
accreditation standards Ability to handle high-stress situations
calmly and effectively Experience in staff training and performance
evaluation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
